Summary

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CAI) and the Institute of Applied Information Technology (InIT) at ZHAW provides state of the art computing infrastructure for research and teaching purposes.

Note

Only the DGX infrastructure maintained by the CAI is described below. Information about more resources that are managed by InIT can be found at info.cloudlab.zhaw.ch.

The CAI maintains three nVidia DGX-1 machines each containing 8x nVidia V100 GPU cards for GPU intense calculations; in addition there is a DGX-A100 server holding 8x nVidia A100 GPUs. The lab offers comprehensive high-speed storage facilities with a Ceph cluster. Internal connectivity is via redundant 100Gb/s interconnects and the lab has a high-speed connection to the outside world via the SWITCH academic network.
